Stargazing and Supper
On Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd October, Isle of Man Railways are hosting an astronomical night on Snaefell summit, the highest point on the Island.
Take the tram up to the summit and warm yourself with a delicious hot pot supper and apple pie, before enjoying a tour of the night sky with the Isle of Man Astronomical Society.
£25 per person, includes supper and tram.
18:00 Depart Derby Castle
18:30 Arrive at Laxey
19:05 Arrive Summit
19:20 Hot pot supper and Apple pie with cream or custard (Vegetarian option available on request)
20:50 Stargazing (if clear) or illustrated lecture (if cloudy), with the Isle of Man Astronomical Society
21:50 Depart summit
22:25 Arrive Laxey
22:55 Arrive Derby Castle
*Warm clothes and sturdy shoes are advisable.
