Due to gas mains works, commencing on Monday 5th January 2009 – and for up to 3 weeks – Westmoreland Road will be one-way only from the Circular Road junction to the Tynwald Street junction.

During this time buses running towards the Kensington Road junction will be unaffected but all inward journeys will divert via Tynwald Street to Prospect Hill.

Any passengers who normally alight on Circular Road are to be set down at the Fairfield School stop if requested.

Due to the road works at Minorca Crossroads the bus stops are suspended.

Passengers are advised to board their bus at the Ard Reayrt bus stop.

The Douglas bound bus stop opposite Farmhill Stores has now been moved nearer to the Manor Drive junction.

From 27th October for 3 weeks, TAS Transport Consultants will be conducting a Passenger Satisfaction Survey on behalf of Isle of Man Transport.

This survey will be carried out on the buses, at the Bus Station and can also be completed online on the TAS Website.

Dates for the Manx Heritage Transport Festival (formerly Railways Enthusiasts event) are from Thursday 30th July 2009 to Wednesday 5th August 2009 inclusive.

The programme of events is not yet finalised, but will be posted as soon as it is.

Service 12

Due to the opening of the new junior school in Ramsey the following slight route changes will apply:

The 08:10 (Mondays to Fridays) journey will run as timetabled to the Market Place – then via May Hill, Lheaney Road and queens Drive to Ramsey Bus station to depart at 08:40 via Claughbane Estate to Lezayre (for infants and junior schools) and Cottage Hospital.

The 15:10 journeys will depart Lezayre Estate on schooldays at 15:32 and NOT serve the Quayside, Market Place or Queens Promenade between Bowring Road and Ramsey Bus Station.

The timetabled 15:40 (schooldays only) journey will depart Ramsey Bus Station at 15:28 to run via Lezayre Estate (15:35) and Queens Drive to Ramsey Grammar School.
